I am excited for the Ignite 2013 Conference that will be happening tomorrow until friday! :D This will be my first time in this kind of event, and I really do not know what to expect!

There are a lot of things that still needed to be done in my work, but I know that I can do all those things excellently and efficiently as long as I depend on His strength and on His leading. :D I am really excited despite of these things! HAHAHA.

Write so that you won’t forget..

I am on the brink of giving up again last night because of being tired with the things that I have been doing. I have a lot of things crammed on my schedule, and I believe I am somehow behind with some of my activities.

I have again worked from past 7 AM to past 8 in the evening. I am not complaining, but I really have been wanting some time to stop, so that I can just sit back, stare at some place and let my thoughts wander aimlessly.

It is so tiring, I’ve been wanting to be absent , or whatnot.. Then this morning I got a chance to read my recent post and it reminded me about the season I am in right now, and it had encouraged me. The post was made when I was more stressed, and more tired. The fact that I was able to write such post that moment encouraged me a lot.

I thank God for His words to me.

Discipline

Honestly, I am somehow being stressed out by the way my boss treat us sometimes. Her attitude had been somehow quite harsh (on my perspective), and had been very keen on observing perfection (or something close to that). Her strictness sometimes make me more sad about my situation, and had been resenting some decisions I made regarding work..

Then a word on my QT last week spoke to me,

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Hebrews 12:11

Then during our meeting a while ago, my boss started it with some pieces of important points regarding discipline. The verse above perfectly sums up what she said. I was just in shock, and amazed by this.

She also told us that  she also had underwent disciplining by her authorities. She said that she also resented it, but looking where she is right now, she told us that she is glad that she was disciplined that way. It did her good.

At the moment, I am happy that God spoke to me through his word, and repeated it through my boss. I now have a better picture on why am I in this situation right now.

I believe I am still in the state of pruning, and being molded into a better shape to be fit for the works which He has planned me to be involved in.

Actually, I had been in this situation before. It did me good, I had improved at work. But then, maybe, there are still some few things that needed polishing and shaping!

I have to praise Him  and delight in Him because of this opportunity for growth!

Comparisons. Desires. Satisfaction. Calling

Success, and satisfaction in this world is always different for every person-a good reason why one should not use other people’s perspectives to be a measure of these two.

There is a need for us then to really know what we want to have, achieve and do, without making comparisons with others.

—-

This life is not a competition, and everyone has a different calling.

Others might have it grand, and ours might have it very simple but this fact should not be a source of our despair. The only thing we could do now is to do what we can do in the best way we can.

This life is like a one big body. :D The face might get more exposure than the intestines, but both are essential, and everything that is a part of a body would also be affected when one never works out well.

We desire things that we do not have, resulting to a neglect of our potentials that others might have wanted to be theirs. Stop looking at others, and focus on how you can improve, enrich and help.

I got some chance to meet these young people yesterday at SM Calamba. It was nice that I was able to leave from elbi early (thanks to the people who gave an early call time to this something that I have committed that’s why we finished early). One of the things that makes this MUs nice is that you get to know the people behind the blogs published in this platform. You get to have a glimpse of who they really are, and what do they really look like. You get to know what they think about things, and how they react on things real time in a more unedited and less filtered version. It also shatters some of the mindsets that you have for a certain person- maybe about his attitude, or how he looks, or how he deal with things, etc, name it.
I always liked to be on these small-scale meet-ups because 1. i get to engage more people 2. understand more of how people active in the social media think and 3. establish deeper connections with them making me able to cater to their needs.
To these people in this photo, it was nice meeting you all and I hope that we get to know more.
